Warren East will receive an honorary degree from Oxford University

Our alumnus, Warren East, CBE FRS FREng FIET FBCS (BSc Engineering Science, 1980) was awarded an honorary fellowship of Wadham College in 2023. He is an Executive in Residence at the Saïd Business School also.

Warren East is the former chief executive officer of Rolls-Royce Holdings. He has also held senior positions at ARM Holdings and Texas Instruments. After graduating from Wadham, he earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Cranfield School of Management at Cranfield University. Warren was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2014 New Year Honours, for services to the technology industry. In 2017 he became a Fellow of the Royal Society. He is a Companion (CCMI) of the Chartered Management Institute.
